Post pics of your *2011* Cayenne
I believe factory rims are made by BBS, either in Germany or Austria. They do make quality rims, but at those Porsche prices they better be 3 piece forged titanium with gold plated spinners.
J/k about the spinners.

Kudos to all who posted photos. All great shots. This may be a bit controversial, but the photos helped me make up my mind for my next CTT: it has got to be either auburn or umber, or blue. It seems "everyone" has black, white, silver, or meteor gray. Personally, I like to have something unique. Auburn and umber seem to be the two least (or not at all) represented in 18 pages of photos. Both colors would seperate one from the crowd, in my opinion. And get even more head turns. However, that doesn't take away from those fantastic Cayennes photos posted here, WoW! Great vehicles. Enjoy them to the fullest.
Thanks Dan
Umber exterior and interior are an elegant choice
I like dark blue metallic(had it on my 997tts) with a tan interior
It was a good idea to look at all the Cayenne pics
First and foremost, you should pick a color that you like and know you will feel comfortable with and in
All the best with your order

Saw my first green metallic cayenne in the wild yesterday. It looked nice but if I were to pick a color to stand out the auburn is very nice. I've only see one but it suits the cayenne very well. Love my JBM but you are right about the black, white, gray, blue and silver being everywhere
2,000 miles in 3 days driving from SF around Grand Canyon and back...what a trip!
I haven't considered getting the tinted ones because i thought the red goes well with the break calipers.
Now if only I had gone yellow calipers then definitely...
your GIAC, Tubi, BMC - what mods are they - and are they worth it? (I'm new to the world of Porsche so any advice helps. including how the heck to make my radio only list the HD channels)

My first 2000 miles were spent on the Autobahn

Beautiful drive indeed..
In my 2009 CT,I went from Florida to Santa Fe,Monument Valley,South Rim,Vegas,LA,Morro Bay,Carmel,Monterrey,SF,Muir Woods,Yountville,Yosemite and Sequoia NP,and then back to LA..where I had my CT shipped to Florida
As far as my mods, others are better able explain them, but I will try in my own way:
GIAC provides software that causes your ECU to let turbos build more boost,as well as changing other parameters(they provide a little flash loader you can plug into a port under your steering wheel,in order to revert to stock settings)
Bmc are air filters that allow your pepper to "inhale" better and Tubi is a modified exhaust(Italian company that also of course provides aftermarket exhaust for all the Italian car makers) that allows your pepper to "exhale" better and growl like the beast that it now is
These mods should add up to about 100hp
I love my CT more and more every day..and so will you

Wow, you did an stunning trip - Congrats!
I was so torn between the Panamera & CTT but the versatility of CTT is so much better and I'm very happy with the final call.
2-3 more questions if you don't mind...
- Do you feel the 100BHP, and if so where do you feel them the most? Isn't Tubi a bit too much for long drives in terms of noise?
- Would just the GIAC and BMC add enough BHP to feel the difference? Where did you have them set up?
- Was the European Delivery worth it? I've got a 911 S Cab coming up and may be able to add this option at the v. last minute

Thanks Alex,I loved driving out west
The 2 fav parts of my trip were the Morro Bay,Carmel,Monterrey drive and the surreal trip to Navajo territory with Monument Valley(i liked the dirt track you can take to drive through it)
There was so much more I wanted to explore during my trip, which is when I realized just how big a country we live in
Looking forward to another trip out west, either this summer or the next
I feel the extra power as soon as I generously give it some gas:boost builds up faster and harder...the more you keep accelerating the more noticeably stronger the boost feels
I do not trust myself enough to do any tinkering with my CT,so I had all work done at my Porsche dealer:who happens to be very mod friendly
The Giac tune by itself is enough
However,it seems logical that allowing air to flow in and then out more easily..could only be beneficial
I love my TUBI exhaust and its immediately noticeable deep growl, like louder pipes on a bike(though it isn't for everybody)
Duuuude,if you have the possibility to spend a few weeks abroad..go for the European delivery:it truly is the most amazing option available(especially since it is now FREE!)
I have done it 3 times(had to pay 4K!)and it was sooooo worth it
Imagine hitting the limitless autobahn top down on the way to the Nurburgring/Nordschleife...did it with my 997tts,and it took a while to sandblast
the huge grin I had on my happy face
Trust me,add the European Delivery option NOW..you will thank me later

As DanZah said 99% of Cayennes seem to be Black, White or Gray.
I considered the Yellow (albeit briefly), Umber and Amethyst. The Auburn was mostly appealing in its uniqueness. I had 2 sales people independently tell me that it was MUCH easier for them to sell a used Cayenne in Black or White. Had I preferred one of the aforementioned colors I would not have let that stop me, but none of them was a home run to me. They were interesting but not really captivating.
The new GTS colors make more of a statement, and if resale was far from my mind, I would consider the Peridot for certain.

If you'd be willing to post a side shot and maybe a 3/4 shot from the front or rear, (or both!?) that shows more of the face of your wheels on the car, I'd love to see them. Thanks in advance!
My wheels "22RG5B"are made by Champion Porsche in Pompano
They were already at my local dealership, ready to be mounted and came with the crest
I agree that silver/black blends in better..so much so that I am thinking of replacing the hood crest with a similar one
So far,I am quite happy with my 22s
I like the tighter, more sedan like ride
