That's the way it should come from the factory! The textured black plastic
does not belong on cars of this level...it looks cheap.

My only concern would be that the paint would chip easily.

No question in my mind. Much nicer look. Sports package (available for order in the US in August) provides this look from the factory for a mere, wait for it, $4-5K.

The paint makes the vehicle look more luxurious, IMHO. I use my pepper as a bike and kayak hauler, and like the black accents - looks "sportier" and provides for rock protection.

I had the dealer paint mine. It came out great! They charged $1700.00 for paint and labor. Well worth it in my opinion.

What color Cayenne? White? I have a white Cayenne S I'm thinking about doing....the parts department is looking into the new 'Sport Package' to see if I can get the parts shipped in white...but as of now, no luck.

Yes I like it.. I could have ordered this on my CS 2012 but I kind of like the black contrast - we will see. Might just get them to paint it.

I'm more a fan contrast, than the painted version. As an added bonus, the plain rubber is more durable to road debris.

I wish they offered a white that was more pure in the cayenne.

It's in Umber.

I would highly recommend the Sport Package. I ordered my CTT when that package wasn't available.
