Oil overfill after 300 miles

Oil overfill after 300 miles
Hi all,

I just got a new 2011 Cayenne V6 two weeks ago. After drive for 300 miles, mostly freeway at low revs, the warning messange indicating oil lever overfill came up (and stayed on).

Is this a common issue with the new Cayennes? How the oil level can go up after 300 miles?

I have an appointment with the service department tomorrow, but I wonder if anyone here has any experience with this behavior. Anything specific I should ask the dealer?

this is just normal i had it too with my cayenne after maybe 1000km

AJRDU is infamous around these parts
The same thing happened to mine at about 500 miles. I asked the tech and he said it was normal and will settle out on its own as the car breaks in.

After two days the warning message disappeared...

this is very odd. only have 308 miles so far. So far so good.
