Maintenance schedule for Cayenne S

Just ordered a 2012 Cayenne S and this is my first post on this site. I'm coming from a 2011 BMW 550iX M Sport that I thought was just too soft on the steering. By the way, I'm selling it if anyone's interested. So my first question is;

What's the maintenance schedule on the Cayenne for the first 15-20K? I'm used to having it all covered on my past BMW's so wanna get myself mentally prepared to start paying for this once again. I'll also miss the loaner cars, etc from BMW but all of that is trumped by the outstanding performance I have to look forward to.

I'm excited to be a Porsche owner once again (old cars included 1997 911 and 2000 Boxster S).

Oh, I'd also be interested to hear how the car performs in the snow with the stock A/S tires that come on the 20" RS Spyder wheels I ordered.

Looking forward to some great reads and chats on this site.

This is my first Porsche, coming from a BMW 545. I was spoiled as well with the covered maitenance. I'm thinking a couple of oil changes and a brake job when you get around 20k on the clock. I have the 19" wheels with a/s on. I took deliver this past December so I can tell you first hand the traction in light snow is good. Deep snoe leaves alot to be desired. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a set of snows.
BTW: As you'll soon see this isn't as active a site as soom of the BMW boards. Welcome aboard!!

Thanks for the feedback. Which Cayenne do you have and where do you get it serviced? How many miles? Are you happy with it?

I'm looking into snow shoes as well but there don't seem to be too many options to put on my 20's. Would rather not switch out the wheels as well since I've ordered the RS Spyders. Wondering if anyone has had success with snows on these wheels?

I have an 2011 Cayenne S. I haven't had any service done yet but I do plan on having it serviced at Roslyn Porsche, where I purchased it. I have about 6,000 miles on her and I have been extremely pleased. The only annoying thing is having to check the oil regularly. I have added 2 quarts.
If you do decide to go with snow tires I recommend you get a set of 19" wheels to mount them on. That's my plan as well.

Is there a digital oil indicator or do you rely on the good ole dip stick?
