I am trying to find out which version of the PCM 3.x and version of the system has the clock display added to the small TFT screen. Can anyone confirm which version and software version is the most up to date?

Can a v2.2 be upgraded to the 2.41?

 

I had a late build 2011 Cayenne 958 that had the latest PCM version, but did not have the time. I was told that Porsche designed that feature for the 2012 model year and cannot be updated now. I will take delivery of a 2012 Cayenne 958 that I preordered in September. It has the time listed there.

 

Thanks. Seems odd since the change is likely to be purely software in nature and something that could easily be fixed. I wonder why they don't release the change to the dealers.

 

This is considered product improvement and car manufacturers are under no obligation to provide it to existing owners unless it is safety related.
