Winter washing question

I live in the midwest so I am always dealing with a dirty car in the winter. Has anyone ever used a product called Optimum No Rinse? It looks like a great alternative to using a traditional washing method outside in below freezing temps. I am just very hesitant to try it out with my new black Cayenne. Any thoughts or experiences?

Have used ONR for the past couple of years. Hot water, ONR mixed and use a grit sponge as a wash medium. Even if the car is covered with bad road grime, the product always does out stellar. No noticeable swirls even with black cars. You wont be dissapointed. Buy it by the gallon.

Thanks w00t, you are always very helpful. Can you give me a quick outline of your process for washing with ONR. I just want to make sure that I do not scratch the paint. Do you use 2 buckets, etc?

Here is a great thread on ONR: http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-det...ve-thread.html

I use hot water and two bucket technique with grit guard. I don't use microfiber towels, instead I use the grit sponge and it works well for me. . Cheap enough to buy at Lowes or Home depot. I perfected the technique by practicing it on my wife's MINI. If you still have questions I'd be happy to run through my routine. Right now I am at work so just had a couple of minutes in between patients.
