Not illegal. The law states the turn signal must BLINK yellow, doesn't have to be yellow glass.

i totally agree. I just wonder why they come with yellow turn markers the cayennes in the middle east and eu are clear side markers as stock

I think US is the only country that has yellow turn markers. There must be a regulation that forces automakers to make yellow markers just for the US market, why else would they do it?
