A nice way to by a Porsche
A nice way to by a Porsche
I've seen a lot of talk among us about battling with the frustrating dealers, their lack of flexibility and their attitudes, particularly in Southern Cal. I ordered my Cayenne S late last year and picked it up last month. Love the thing. It replaced my BWM X5 and is so much more refined.
Anyhow, I found a way to buy the car that really worked out well for me. There is a dealer in Spokane Washington that is establishing itself (Porsche of Spokane in Liberty Lake). The dealer there offered me the best deal I found anywhere. Since I live in North Idaho in the summer it was easy to fly up, pick up the car and drive it back to Southern Cal where I live this time of the year.
Porsche of Spokane is offering a program in which they will put you up in the very lovely Coeur d'Alene Resort right nearby for a couple nights and I think a golf pass and then you can have a very scenic ride back home to get to know your new car.
I am posting this completely on my own, it is unsolicited by the dealer - just seemed like it could be a pleasant and sensible way to go for some of you. The calm and professionalism of this outfit was a welcome change to what I find in big city dealerships. I was treated with complete honesty and the service manager hardwired by radar detector in before I left and a few other helpful things.
I don't know all the details, I'm sure there are conditions. The Sales Director is a guy named Klaus Kindor, a Porsche racer himself.
Hope this is useful.
