This is my fist post on 6speedonline - and am grateful for anyone who can help.

Totally in love with Porsche. Live in California, but my love is long roadtrips (days long)

Choice(s) to make:

1) i need a fun car. here I'm thinking 911 S Cabriolet (2012), although having been in a Turbo yesterday I was blown away - shall I wait?

2) the *BIG(er) decision where i need your advice:

Panamera Turbo S (crazy price tag) vs Cayenne Turbo, which one?

PTS - i can have it next week (in stock) but CTT would take several months.

- is it worth it though?

What do I need it for:
- long road trips (eg San Fran to LA, San Fran to Vegas, San Fran to Seattle, skiing trips)
- take my friends & clients from the airport, drive them around Cali.

In some ways i feel Panamera is neither a utility vehicle neither a sports car, but I'm blown away on how it handles. I worry that it's the first generation (is the Turbo S first generation too?)

so options:
1) CTT + 911S Cab (but wait for both 3-4 months)
2) PTS + wait for a 911 turbo (long wait?)
3) PTS + 911S Cab (but will the 911 be more fun?)

I'd like to hear some thoughts from people who've experienced both for more than a test drive...
