So I have about 6200 miles and my digital oil meter says it is full. I find that kinda hard to believe. I opened the hood and there appears to be something resembling a dipstick but it seems kinda hard to pull out - so I didn't. Is it a dipstick? Shouldn't I need oil by now?

There is no dipstick, it is solely electronic. 104 views and nobody can throw 2012cayenne a bone?

 

We have 2500 mls on the CS and still says oil is full. Perhaps you wanna do a manual check by popping the hood like you did with the key off. Then it'll say reading or show lines. After about 50 mls continuous driving, it'll update. Something like that I read in the manual.

 

I have 6k miles and have not touched the oil. Still says full. I should prolly go get an oil change, no?

 

With the new computer update, I went from having every 500 miles it moving a.notch, to driving 5000 miles and having it move just one notch.
