Cayenne S OEM Brake Pad Alternatives

MY12 Cayenne S is hitting 20,000 miles and its time to replace the brake pads. 2 things:

1. The dealer is refusing to do the service unless we do the rotors as well. I don't see the need to replace rotors after 20,000 miles with normal driving. Is this normal on the dealer's part and is replacing rotors after 20k necessary?

2. With the squeakiness and dustiness of the OEM brake pads, has anyone found a good alternative to the OEM pads? The only aftermarket brake pads I've seen are EBC's Yellow Stuff pads. These seem pretty aggressive for a daily driver and I'm not sure if these would lead to less dust/noise.

Thanks in advance ladies and gents!

the factory oem brake pads i got from the dealer were in porsche boxes but made by akebono, when i asked the parts car why they werent the brembo/ferodo, jurid etc, he said for the panas and cayennes porsche started using akebono as a supplier. just change the pads yourself its fairly easy, the pads wont come out with the 2 pins like the normal oem/brembo pads tho, ull need a reverse torx i forget the exact sixe its E something, pull the caliper and the pads slide out the bottom rather then the top. 15-20 min job tops for each side. FYI the front pads retail for 340 or 50 something plus 30-40$ for the sensor if u need that as well
