Laser/Radar

Picking up new Cayenne later this week and have to decide about Laser/Radar protection.
Used a Lidatek on my last car with a Valentine 1. Current car has a Laser Interceptor and an Escort 9500. On both cars I disconnected the Radar after 4 months. It was a distraction and never to my knowledge alerted me to a radar trap. The Laser Jammers on the other hand have been worth their weight in gold.
Two "experts" have written that over 35% of tickets written are the result of Radar. It will cost less to have a Bel STi Radar Detector installed at the same time as a Laser Interceptor jammer rather than doing it later. Anyone had experience with the STi?

i like the 9500CI - one system, gps works great and greatly reduces false signals.

Love my laser interceptor and love the Valentine.
Just put the valentine in after a year in the new CTT.
Never a ticket in the new CTT and really don't care about the police, but I enjoy having it up.
The LI is worth the $1,000 install.

Do you ascribe the no tickets to the LI, the Valentine or the combination?
Installing the latest Interceptor is a must for me. Can't decide on the Radar.

Do both.
LI only detects and jams laser
Valentine detects radar

Here's the link to the Laser Interceptor http://www.laser-interceptorusa.com/home.html
I have it on my M6 and it has saved me on many occasions. I havent gotten around to installing one on the CTT yet but hopefully in the next month or two I can find time to installing it.
LI just updated their hardware for 2012.

As I mentioned, I'm a big believer in the Interceptor. Just not as sure of the need for Radar detection.
