JBM Cayenne Smoked tail lights pics

Ordered these and had the dealer install them for under $200.
Had tried to do it myself initially but soon realized the tailgate light removal was too difficult.

smoke tail lights...

$60 tint film at local auto toy store................2 years old now, looks great..I went dark because LEDs are so bright. If you have a 2008 or older I'd go with a lighter film tint.

Did you install it yourself? How hard was it to wrap the curve surface?

GIjbop are you on steel springs? Hows the ride? Do you have PASM?

Im asking b/c it seems most of the guys here have AS so I can't really do a comparison. From your picture it kinda looks like you are on steel springs.

And yeah, your smoked tails look awesome. Im going for the same look come June as well. But im deciding if I want to go OEM later on or Porsche factory option since the price difference is a lot.

Not on springs.
No air suspension or any suspension options

I have no issues with ride comfort. However i drive a 911 daily and ever since i got the cayenne i feel the 911 feels excesively rough driving over manholes and bumps on the roads at times. So for me the cayenne is a very comfortable ride. If you are in a major asian city you prob have nice clean and smooth roads to drive on.

Do it joe then take a pic for me. That'll help
my decision.
Would I look odd cutting around reverse LEDs?
Better to wrap entire lens?

Wish they made a nano tint that went dark during day, and light at night.

Came so close to having it done this week when I was at the dealers. Saw a JBM GTS up close at looked amazing as did the smoked rears. Still not sure that it'll be too dark for the chrome that I have on mine. Still hoping to see one in the flesh or you could always go first Jace
I've trawled hundreds of pics on the net but het to find a set on Grey.
If I end up doing it, personally I would stick with official rather that wrap and cut outs.

Finally found a pic of a CT Meteor with the smokes. What do you think?
