With an incoming or outgoing call, is there a way to get the Phone to Default to the phone itself and require you to select PCM rather than the other way around? 90% of the time I want the clearer sound for my caller rather than the echoes heard through the car's system.

 

Turn Bluetooth off.
That's the only way.

If you answer with the phone and not PCM or sterring wheel, you can quickly cycle which device then go from there.
That's what I do when I want call in phone and not Bluetooth echo speaker.

Echo may be the wrong word. Just sounds like a good quality speaker phone rather than the clarity of the phone at your ear.
Thought about turning Bluetooth off, but then the functionality of streaming music from the IPhone is lost. Wish there was an option or app to keep the non PCM primary.

 

i like the peacefulness of the phone not through speakers.
never had one single complaint on the clarity of my voice from the other end, and I can always hear them when talking over car system, I just think the phone is quieter.

I still use both probably 50/50 and both ways are great.
