owners w/ 12' and clock dash, can the second hand be stopped?

I just got my cs today, was wondering to those with the clock on the dash. Does the second hand always tick and go around or is there a way to disable that so it stays stationary.

I haven't notice any way to turn it off...

I asked the same question and was told "nope" . I got used to it though .
