interior cleaning question

to all those that are much better about keeping their cayennes cleaner than i am...

i have the platinum grey standard interior in my current cayenne S, and as i was finally giving the dash a little love and attention today i noticed a number of white flecks on the passenger side of the dash (where i've occasionally caught my wife stashing a magazine or some papers she's editing on our roadtrips). tried some griots interior cleaner both with a microfiber cloth and with a detailing brush, but can't make them go away...

anyone have any grand ideas?

thanks in advance!

not exactly sure what they are...but certainly stubborn. not sure a pic would really show up meaningfully. it seems to be in the deeper portions of the texture of the standard dash. i'll have to give the prestine clean a try over the weekend, or eventually give up and let a pro deal with it before i turn it back in for the new one!
