Has anybody installed a set of these or similar before at all?

actually my set is for a 2011 958 and the supplied wire/cable is a single piece. Seems like it's going to be a major mission to thread a single piece from one side of the vehicle, through the dash and then into the other side.
Anyone had any experience? Should I cut it and do the both sides individually?
