Guard your headlights!

Headlights from Porsche perfect for growing pot. "The xenon bulbs used in Porsche’s lighting systems coincidentally deliver a just-right blend of light and heat for budding amateur horticulturists, and they offer the side benefit of being energy-efficient, too"

Video below shows guy stealing two headlights from parked car in less than one minute.

Disgusting. I was considering headlight trim rings for my 958. Theft prevention was not in mind, more like covering the bug traps below the clear lens. Do you think trim rings would offer any additional deterrence to this type thief?

Notice he removed but did not disconnect the left headlight until he got the right one out. The alarm came on when the right headlight was disconnected, so he had more time to work on the second headlight without the alarm being on. Seems the thief knew that trick.

Liars and thieves.. GRRRRR....

Steal one headlight.. lose one finger. Steal two headlights, lose two fingers. I don't see that as habit forming behavior.
