Replacing tires for 2011 CS BUT on 285/35/22 Techarts

Looking for input from the Experts (you guys) on any suggestions you may have re tires for my '11 CS which currently sits on 285/35/22 Techart w/ Sumitomo's. I bought the wheels/tires used and now need to replace the tires. Quick search (on Tirerrack) reveals: BF Goodrich g-Force, Pirelli Scorpion Zero Assimetrico, Yokohama Prada Spec-X and my same Sumitomo HTR Sports.

Weather is not really an issue as I live in CLT, NC so shopping for funfactor/tire life/affordability (in that order). :')

Lil Help???

I was a bit shocked they don't offer the Michelin Diamaris that comes in that size.

I don't have any experience in the above tires but just from a brand perspective I would do Yokohoma first then Pirelli second.

u also can run 295/30/22, michelin and a few other choices will open up if u go 295's. but i also run 285/35/22 yokohama prada spec x, when i buying tires i was only considering top tier brands, so i was looking at the yoks or pirelli in this size. the scorpion zeros are a really old design/tire and is really an inferior tire to the prada spec x. ive driven on both tires and the only thing going for the scorpion zeros is the name pirelli behind it. pirelli really needs to discontinue this 10 year old tire and come out with a replacement already. theyre noisy, sometimes track funny and folllows grooves/uneven pavement, and they wear out faster. the yokohamas are better in every aspect other than the brand name but thats subjective as well. yokohama comes oe on bentley and others. i was thinking of running 295 michelin diamaris but the $5-600 a tire price range made the choice simple.

Thx very much for the input on this. Think I will give the Yokohamas a go.
