Question 2013 Cayenne Turbo - Porsche Entry and Drive

Hi

Is there any change to the Porsche Entry and Drive System? I am curios if is still using a dummy key or is a button to start the engine.

I have seen in a recent catalogue that said you push the button to start the engine.

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks

You can remove the dummy key if you want to use your actual key lol.. it's not easy to remove. My sales guy told me all about it and left the dummy key in the center arm rest cover but I eventually stuck the dummy key in. I plan to do some R&D and see if I can modify it to be a push button while retaining factory look and quality.

I know but I am not worried about having to twist the dummy key when starting the engine. I am more than fine that I do not have to take the key out of the pocket or bag when opening/closing and starting the engine.

My sales rep did make one good point though.. say it's just your bad luck.. and some punk kid walks by and sees a "dummy" key in the car and thinks it's the actual key and decides to break your window trying to steal a car that he obviously can't.. there is always that very real possibility since the dummy key does look like a real key stuck in the key hole for those that are not knowledgable. I thought about it.. but still stuck the dummy key in haha..
