Hey Steph, what's happening. Haven't heard from you in a long time. I think we bought our vehicles about the same time, then you got into that accident if I recall.

Anyways, ya. I've enjoyed my time in my Cayenne even though I have had little miles. But I also realized, why would I pay 90k for a car that I trash around all day. I'd rather pay a bit more for a 991, then put those 2k miles on that car and get a everyday commute SUV like (don't flame me everyone) a Toyota 4Runner or something I can trash around. I also realized, the Cayenne doesn't really hold that much in the trunk. I tried to move some big boxes to a friend house a month or so ago around New Years, and man, that trunk is small compared to some of the other mid-sized SUVs I've had. I need to think if I'm gonna sell it or not soon.

Wow! You need to drive that baby. I would change the oil. I owned a Porsche Boxter in another country as a holiday drive. 10k in 10 years from new and did an oil change every year as advised by local Porsche dealer.

Yeah that was Cayenne #1 which wife totaled when somebody cut in front of her. I am driving #2 daily and have just passed 10K miles. It's really a fun and practical vehicle, a good daily driver. Yeah that trunk is puny, but still beats the 911. I can't really take the 911 anywhere because I'm afraid to get a ding in the small SoCal parking lots, and can't take more than my wife with the almost non-existent back seat. 911 is fun on the track, but I baby mine too much to put it through that much abuse.

I haven't had the chance to take my Cayenne offroad yet, but one of these days...

BTW back to your oil change question. The day after I paid $400 for an oil change at NewPort Porsche, Walter sent me a flyer for $199 oil change. Go figure. Check them out if you want it done at a dealer. And yes you need to do it because oil attracts moisture sitting there for a year.
