Should I do my maintenance because my 1 year is almost here in owning my 2012 CS? And yes, I've only driven 2k miles. Go figure. Maybe I'll sell it.

Also, is there a site where I can find any recalls? I know about the front light which I haven't done yet.

Fluids should follow the "or 12 months" rule, but I don't think there's any other sked maint. Mine's a 13 so I can't help with recalls

I would do an oil change, yes.

I would change it! Sitting too long is never good!

In regards to recalls, if you send me an e-mail I could potentially get a list for you.

For all the new cars I've gone through, I do oil change shortly after break-in, and follow the typical rules (12 months/10k miles for Porsche as recommended).

The maintenance schedule is time or mileage so yes, you should do the service.
Just an FYI, if you're not driving that much you should be using a battery tender and prepare yourself for an expensive brake service at the 2-year anniversary (no matter the mileage driven)

And, what may I ask is the brake service if I have low mileage and the pads are good? brake fluid?

Can you elaborate? Only "expensive" part of brakes are pad/rotor replacements, which do not necessarily follow the "2-year" check-up. If you are referring to brake flush, which is required per 2 years, it is not expensive. It's actually cheaper than your typical oil change through a dealer.

If you like your warranty, i'd suggest changing the oil on a yearly basis

I have an '85 911 that I might drive 2500 miles per year.
I always change the oil once a year.

Your car needs a driver. Not sure about the oil change.

No thanks. I have less than 5K on my 956TT but have no interest in changing.

Frank you need to drive that Cayenne more often! One thing for sure if you get a 991 you will drive it even less. I only put 7000 miles on my 997 in 3 years. It's not a practical car you can take anywhere like the Cayenne, so it ends up sitting in garage most of time.
