Someone in another thread a few weeks ago told me how to unlock the selector **** so it can come off and the center trim can be removed. This worked great, but when I put the **** back on the button doesn't work. I tried passing it off as a theft deterrent upgrade, but that just got me a dirty look.

Am I just doing something wrong on the reinstall or did something get broken?
