V6 vs Diesel to get PDCC and PTV

Pdcc and ptv are not available on a Cayenne diesel. Therefore looking at a V6 petrol where you can get all the performance goodies. Good move?

Is there a pdcc switch? How to tell if a Cayenne has PTV and PDCC?

Drive the CD before you commit. I have the standard steel suspension on mine, plus Servotronic steering. Compared to that under the 2011 Touareg I had before, the CD as configured is more than adequate for normal driving. Since track day will never be found on my calendar, I found no reason to spec any further suspension options.

Side note: it's not well publicized by the way, but the base VR6 requires premium fuel. Combine that with 25% higher fuel consumption and slower 0-60 times, the VR6 sorta pales in the shadow of the diesel. Again, drive them both first. Then decide.

I agree with Greg. We ended up ordering a CD after our dealer gave us one for 24 hours. I defy anyone not to like the power/torque/handling of the CD, it truly is a hoot to drive. 99.9% (I made that up) of Cayenne owners will never see a track or appreciate the Porsche add-ons for daily driving...

I'm another in the "the PTV+PDCC money could be better spent on getting the diesel" camp.

I defend the base V6 as being a good option, but I love my Diesel and other than the 4 zone climate wasn't attached to any of the options you can't get on the CD. I respect what those options can do, I just have no need for them.

The diesel is highly desirable but no PTV and PDCC. If I add PTV/PDCC to the specs of a V6 petrol, the price is almost the same as a Diesel without these options. There lies the issue. . .
