I usually always do a walk around when dropping off my Porsches but this time around I got kind if lazy... Big mistake!

Dropped off the Mrs CS at les scwab to do a tire rotation and didnt think they could mess it up. Picked up the car after 45 mins and checked the wheels and the curbed one of them.

Brought it to their sup attention and he said they couldn't have done it since they just pulled it in and out but noticed the curb there while swapping the wheels. Tried arguing that the damn finish on the wheel is still flaking off so it had to be done recently but didn't help. Gave up as a lesson learn so now I gotta call my wheel repair guy and pay him $150 for a damn tire rotation.

Make sure you guys do a walk around when dropping you car off in the future. Some places do it automatically while others can careless.

Sorry to see that, happened to me once, had a similar story and eventually gave up and had someone refinish the wheel as you did.

 

yeah its hard to prove someone did unless you do a walk around every single time. again lesson learn and that won't be happening again.

I think we all need to mount a cam for service. I've gone through a similar scenario but the dealer ended up taking care of mine (same dealer where I bought the car from & serviced from). Sucks...

Really you mean to get THEM to do the walkaround to sign off when you drop off the car.
