How to remove sand from perforated seats

I have the heated/ventilated seats in my GTS and I have noticed that some of the perforated seats seem to catch tiny sand and other dirt/ dust in the perforations - very visible as white dots in the holes. I tried using sticky tape to pull them out, but that doesn't work. I don't want to use a brush because I fear that it would just push the sand into the holes. Any ideas?

Vacuum cleaner with a hose, works best with a crevice tool if you have one. Hit/slap the seat bottom with your hand. As the sand bounces, suck it up with the crevice tip.
