Black GTS exhaust tips for CTT ?

I haven't seen any talk of getting the black exhaust tips for the turbo, just like is standard on the gts. I think it looks hot. Maybe the best way would be to send them for a black powder coating. Any thoughts?

Plastidip works great as well and much cheaper! Pretty easy to remove too.

I have a black 13 CTT and I switched out the exhaust tips for the black ones. They look great. I would recommend it.

You can get them ceramic coated matte black and they will look very similar to the GTS tips. I have the PSE exhaust on mine and will see how the ceramic coating goes.

I actually had ours done in gloss black - to match the trim on our Cayenne Turbo. We also had the "Cayenne Turbo" and "PORSCHE" done that way, too. Matches the wheels, trunk lid trim, etc...ties it in nicely. Here are some pictures.

I actually want to go with gloss black as well. What kind of coating did you get done? Ceramic?

Not true actually, I've done mine on my cayenne 6 months ago and they look great. The video below (starting around 4:20) gives insights as well on plasti dipping exhaust tips.

Not sure - my body shop did it - but it has been holding up perfectly!

I saw this posting on here from a company RSS that said this back on10-12-2009:
Our Ceramic Coating services for exhaust tips run around $129 for the set which includes surface prep, ceramic coating and return ground shipping back to you.

I sent them a pm and waiting for a reply.
gasmanavo- I agree, I want to do it.

snp_cayenne- I think matte would look good. I have to look at a friends GTS and get a closer look at what that has.

After some reading it looks like ceramic coating is the way to go due to the high heat. There are several places here on long Island that can do it.

how good are those? they look almost like OEM

it also says you need to specify which one you have the shorter or the longer one what does it mean?

Are they easy to install yourself?
