Tire Recommendations

I'm not there yet but want to start searching for tires for my 958 CTT for when the time comes. Ride quality and low noise are paramount. My experience with this with my last CTT made aware that there were significant issues with various types/brands so its important to investigate this.

After the horrific OEM Pirelli's on my other CTT I switched after researching to Yoko Parada X-Spec and they were awesome. Great handling, quiet and long wear. They were also inexpensive comparably speaking. Don't know what the good options are for the new CTT with 21" turbo II wheels.

Assuming you are still running OEM rims, I'd start by limiting my choice to those on the Porsche-approved list. Winter and all-season here, summer here.

My CGTS with 21" Turbo IIs came with Yokohama Advan Sport tires. While they are rated highly on wet surfaces, mine hydroplaned all over the place this past summer. If I hit more than a puddle, the rig would start sliding on top of the water. Ride was very comfy on dry surfaces.

Surprised you did not like the p-Zeros. They are a highly rated tire.
