So I test drove the new Mercedes E 63 amg s thinking I would trade my 2012 CTT ( my 4th one) for this all wheel drive sedan with 577 hp and 590 lb/ft torque. After driving it I am not so sure. The E 63 is better then the previous ones I drove. The exhaust note is nice , there is some downshift blips but the torque pull that I love in the CTT is just not there. The E63's paddle shifters are somewhat more engaging and the downshift blips are nice. So I am undecided as I really thought I want to go back to a sedan ( need 4 wheel drive) but afraid I would miss the CTT. Any thoughts/ advice? I know this should be the "worst" problem any one should have! Thanks in advance for the input.

 

What about the PTT?

Not quite as much power as that AMG monster, but you stay in the Porsche family (so you know it handles right), has AWD, and comes with the PDK.

 

Exactly what I thought before I bought my last cayenne and got one. It was not really that engaging of a car. Gears shifts were just to smooth, and the exhaust was way to quite. Sold it and got back into a CTT.
