Fuel smell 2011 CTT?

Has anyone experienced a fuel odor in their CTT when in traffic or at/in an intersection. I just had a major service done on my CTT (60,000 KM) and since then, I am smelling fuel (faint to medium) when waiting at a light or caught in traffic. The dealer could not recreate the condition so he says. I have had the vehicle since new so this is not my imagination. Has anyone had the same problem that was correctly diagnosed so I could give the tech a head start?

I had the same thing happen a week ago. Temps were subzero (F). It would only occur when stopped at an intersection. I have a '11 CTT with 50K miles (80KM).

I'm curious if this is normal due to the cold temps. Now that temps are above zero, it doesn't smell like fuel.

I noticed this one night a week or two ago when it was brutal cold....like -20 degrees.
Very strong fuel oder. No leaking anywhere.
Never smelled it since then.

Update:

It was -2 degrees last night and i again smelled the fuel smell when i came to a stop sign and slightly when i pulled into my garage (30 minute commute).

I stopped by my local Porsche dealer to have it checked out. While they could not reproduce or locate any issues or leaks, the temp was about 10 degrees.

They explained it to me like this...

The spark is different for normal driving, enhanced when driving the vehicle hard or in sport mode, and when its really cold, the spark is more like a 'triple spark' to utilize more fuel and more spark to heat up to optimal operating temps as quickly as possible.

This may be a contributor to the issue. The dealer has had some similar complaints from other 2011 CTT owners. However, they could not be duplicated the smell or issue once at the dealership.

The only way to likely duplicate is to go to the dealership when it is below 0 degrees and the smell is present. But usually, at that temp, i prefer to go home!!

Interesting...sort of holds water too. Smell again driving back from the airport just now - but it is wickedly cold tonight (-20 degrees C)

I got a similar issue, but only when I accelerate hard up to 200 km/h or so, I get this fuel odor inside the cabin. Even with both A/C and circulation on.
