Extended Warranty Options in US?

Hey guys,

I just picked up a low-mileage 2012 Cayenne Turbo from a private party, so no CPO, just the factory warranty for the next couple of years. Does anyone have any recos for extended warranty coverage?

Thanks in advance.

Greg

Mine is don't.

The fine print and exclusions are ridiculous and you'll spend more time fighting with them than the repairs will actually take. The 958s have also (so far) proven to be pretty solid, so there is less risk than some of the earlier models.

If you feel you really must then:

Read the details about what is and isn't covered carefully.

Some make you call for approvals before any work is started (including diagnostics).

Some will only deal with their network of shops.

Talk to the shop that you plan to have do all your work and find out who they work with and who they recommend.

If you find one check at the P-car dealer since they may have something available and since they are selling you should have less issues getting your money's worth when repairs are needed. There is also a TON of margin on those products so you can try to get a good deal...
