Today I received my tips from an ebay vendor, they are the square "newer style" I noticed the quality on this it does look funny looking and both sides are different .. I need your opinion,on one of the the tips the outside lips are bigger then the other side.. also I think the position of the metal when they put it together the tub and the tip head on both its crocked, maybe a member can post a picture of his 14 Cayenne Turbo so we can compare..

thanks Dimok I didn't bought the sun coast ones because price is super expensive, Hoiya thanks for sharing looks mine was just the build quality.

 

is there a possible way any of you guys might get a closer picture of one tip with your phone and posted here, I will contact the vendor because this they look defective to me

Unfortunately I just dropped off my CTTS to have some mods done do it (clear bra, tint, radar) and won't be getting it back for a week or so.

 

I would say those are just cheap e-bay junk. You gotta be careful, because you do get what you pay for... (although you don't always have to pay the porsche tax)

Maybe you can "massage" them a little to make them look better? Otherwise, try and return em but that might be difficult.

edit: You know, honestly, looking at the stock Turbo tips and those tips... yours aren't that far off. I'm 99% sure, you'll be the only person that would notice them. Of course, that's all that matters.

 

you are right, I bought a set same as the GTS from ebay, same vendor and the tips are very good..

this ones the price was not cheap, I can try the massage lol but the problem is the driver side the edge is thicker so I would need to get a dremel and shave some of the metal..

 

The right tips are perfect, but the left one looks pretty messed up.

 

It's pretty noticeable. I'd return them...it will only continue to bother you unless you get what you are happy with.

 

thanks Bruinxman, seller ignored my emails to bad I didn't do the transaction on ebay, just called my AMEX to do a chargeback.

 

I believe Amex will take the item back even if the user doesn't accept returns. Don't recall up to what dollar amount though.
