Good idea from sponsor- extra wheel bolt guide

I saw a sponsor selling a wheel bolt guide tool which seems like a good idea to use with the Porsche one for changing wheels. Having 2 on the hub when putting wheels on or off should help the align the bolts I would think. I ordered one. Here's the link:

all Mercedes come with this in their tool kit. i have a couple from my benz's. ive never really used them though. changing hubcentric wheels is pretty easy and straight forward. these do come in handy tho if you are running like 5-7mm flat spacers because the hub shrinks and its easier to hold up and align.

Sounds good. My CTT came with one and I can see how a second would help. I read that when you get the optional yellow ceramic brakes that it comes with 2 to make the wheel changes easier.

yeah probably because if you ding the cc rotor with the wheel and damaged it, you just cost yourself thousands of dollars. lol

Yeah I pulled the PIWIS instructions not to long ago to look at what was involved/answer a question on RL and it is just littered with all kinds of warnings about avoiding the ceramic disc. If you didn't know better you'd think a small touch would cause them to explode and kill everyone in the room

Seriously though, I wouldn't want to be on the hook for replacing one of those things
