CD maybe a mistake, to many rattles

so we have a 14 CD with 5k miles, at first we got excited and we bought the diesel, first 1k miles the truck was perfect but then we started to get this rattle vibration noise on a plastic inside the dash, I took it in for service and they could not duplicate the noise, second time it went in for the same noise and they found to be a loose pipe or something that they weld, not sure because my mom picked her up and the paper work got lost.

Now I have a whistle coming from my driver A/C vent .. when the a/c is turned on, also I have this excessive vibration on my steering wheel, honestly if you drive all day at every single stop, light or idle you get this strong steering wheel vibration, after a few hours you can feel the thing on your hands.. is this normal for any CD owners you had any problems like this?? for a $80k car.. Don't think so, my other regular 14 Cayenne runs great..

Sorry to hear you're having so many issues. My wife's just past 11k miles and does not have any more rattles than the day we drove it off the lot. *knock on wood*

Sucks to hear about all the issues. We just bought our Caynne, although it's not Diesel like yours, I hope you get your issues taken care of.

How helpful is the dealer seem in getting this problem solved?

Our main concern when purchasing was indeed reliability.

Dealer is good, but goes in for something and later on gets something else.. they tell me its because its a Diesel you got a stronger engine, when We bought it wasnt like that everything was smoth

There must be some inconsistencies with production of the dash. Turbo here with 10k and nothing but child seat rattles. Does not seem more prevalent in one model over the other according to responces. Hard to understand how with an aging 958 model. Typically the later years of a particular model fixes all the errors of prior years.

28000 miles on our 2013 CD, no issues, other than 3 times the radio has gone to full volume on its own for no reason.

the only rattle I get is if I don't latch down the cargo cover. I do get a clunk sometimes from the undercarriage when going over speed bumps or uneven surfaces at slow speeds, don't know if its the exhaust, suspension etc.

Rattles aside, you should not have any excessive vibrations, go get that checked out asap.

Forgot to add, with the car running turn the wheels all the way to left and keep it there for a bit then all the way to the right and leave it there with the steering wheel held. if it shudders then its a pump issue, i had it on mine and by fluke chance thats how i could replicate my issue, ps my car was brand new as well/

My '14 CD platinum edition has a little over 5k miles and no rattles so far. I wonder if having full leather vs non makes a difference? I have full leather on dash and I don't hear any rattles. So far it's been quiet.
