New tpms sensors with 22" wheels?
I just bought a 2011 cayenne v6 with 19000km and bought 22" replica porsche wheels for it with aftermarket tpms sensors already installed. I asked the dealership how I could get the new tpms sensors linked to the car since it is only programmed up to 21"( and also I do not know the method as the truck did not come with the owners manual) they said that I would keep getting error messages as it is only programmed up to 21" so it would not work, but I have seen many members here with 22" with no problems. I read on some threads that people just chose the largest setting of wheels and tires and the pressure was only off by like 2 psi, is that fine? Also I would really appreciated instructions on how to sync the new tpms with the truck and pick the largest setting of wheels/tires as I do not have the owners manual. New owner here needs help!

They are right, you choose the 21' tire and summer setting.
On the display next to your speedometer I believe.... go to the picture where it shows the 4 tire pressures. You have to be at a dead stop and press the menu function to go into that screen. You will see your options there and it is pretty straight forward after that. The car will be in the "learning" mode and you will have to drive over 15mph for a short time and your new pressures will come up.

The car does not 'know' what size of wheels it has on, that's why you have to set it. A wrong setting should not cause any damage, it may affect TPMS reading and navigation distance calculation.

The tires that came with the wheels are all season tires but I selected summer tires for the tpms settings, is this ok or should I change them to all season tires setting in the tpms

Can you post pictures once you have the 22's installed?

On my 957 I had changed the display to read 22in. You can program in 23in also. It will not add these sizes but replace the 21in setting. I was also able too change the tps pressure settings also. In the PWIS there are all kinds of changes you can make.
I have not looked into it on this 958 but I would guess it would be the same.
As long as you keep the tire pressure set for the setting you have it at there should be no issue. 21in summer setting (non comfort) is 38psi fronts and 42psi rears.
