LED License Plate Lights for Cayenne 958 GTS

Just was wondering if anyone else has purchased/tried the LED License Plate Lights for Cayenne 958 from iJDMToy.com?

http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Porsche-911-Carrera-Cayman-LED-License-Plate-Light-p/75-013a.htm

I've purchased over 4+ Sets for both my 2013 Cayenne GTS and my 2005 Boxster S since both these vehicles use the same LED License Plate lights and somehow they keep getting water damage after about 3-4 weeks and then I have to replace them. It seems to happen when I get a car wash. Anyone else have experience or recommend another store that sells this item that will last for longer than 3-4 weeks? I've attached photos of what it looks like once the water gets in and then after about another 2-3 days the bulb goes completely dark.

Well, did it get water damaged before you replaced them with LED's?

First problem first is to make sure they sealed properly. Did you forget a gasket?
did you clip them in correctly? left side first slide in then clip on the right with a firm press?

I have bought it but too bright for my taste, I can sell them to you for cheap if you want it as replacement

I've since then retrofitted the OEM LED license plate lights, you can find them in my signature if you are interested in finding out more about it

There was no previous water damage on the OEM lights which worked for over 15,000 miles until I decided to make the switch. The LED lights were installed correctly the exact way like the OEM. It just seems this product doesn't come sealed properly so the water gets inside easily after a few high pressure automatic car washes that I frequent. I was just curious if it was just me experiencing this problem from iJDMTOY or if anyone else had same issue.

Thanks for the offer but unfortunately I've already purchased about (4) sets from them thinking the prior ones I had were just sealed poorly. But after going through (4) sets already and having to keep replacing them due to water damage - I'm ready to try something different.

I've read your post in your signature about retrofitting the OEM LED license plate lights they look really nice and sounds like it lasts so I'll try that out. Thanks for all your help kechang!

I had the same problem + those were way to bright. I purchased a set from ECS Tuning. The brightness is perfect. Fitment is perfect. Hope that helps.

So finally after getting frustrated with Canbus bulbs ordered some Chinesium LED lights. The problem with the LED bulbs was that whenever the lights came on the yellow bulb out warning would come up. It used to go away in a few minutes but I hated the warning.
So I ordered these

Install was simple and they work and no warning.
