Pics of Hoen LED license plate lights installed

Hi all -

Just finished installing the Hoen LED license plate upgrades. Sorry for the ****ty image quality, I just have a phone camera. Sold my old DSLR a while ago, gotta pic up a good point and shoot soon... any recommendations?

One pic up close and another in a parking garage. It's very bright and very white. Check out the cutoff light on the ground underneath the license plate. Clearly a major improvement over the yellow OEM units.

Looks good but are you worried that the cops can now read your plate from 2 miles away?

That was my worry after I installed mine. My Gundo muffler gives them plenty of warning as I approach them. And my LED license plate light gives them enough illumination to see me going up to a mile away.

OP All you need now is the LED tail lights. Looks great!

I never understood this concern - why would I care if they (or anyone else on the road) can read my plate easier? Cops pull you over based on what you're doing/not doing, not what your plate says.

Unless the car is stolen, in which case I would hope my plate is as visible as possible at all times.

http://www.hoen-usa.com/ is where I got the unit. Prompt delivery because they're in-state (CA) to me.

i wish that were true..

LEO can spot us right away from behind and our speed will be noticeable in the sea of darkness..

i have a hoen led light, also, and have debated going back to original.

its just a tad too bright, IMO.

The license plate LED are really bright! looks very good!
You can try aftermarket LED (997.2 OEM looking) rear light to match your license plate LED. would look awesome!
