Water pump + front brakes
Water pump + front brakes
I have a 2012 Cayenne, its done about 26K miles and is still under warranty. Recently, I got a coolant low message and took it in for service. I was informed that the water pump was out and they replaced it as it was under warranty.
The service guy also informed me that the threading on my front breaks was low and the warning light would come on soon. He recommended that I change the front brakes. It's about $1200 including labor. Is this common to be changing brakes this early?

Which cayenne do you have?
I drive my pretty hard and also use it as a work truck.
Yes I am that guy that loads 200 pavement bricks in the back or almost 20 bags of 50 pound cement. in a blanket not to scratch anything that is
and i had to change my brakes around 40k. So i would think that 26k is a bit low. Real kicker is how bad is the rotors?
Pads are cheap compared to a rotes and pads job.
