This is what happens when I’m home bored on vacation…. Painted a stripe on it. What do you guys think?

 

Now all it needs is a big red bow to go with it.

I hate to be the one to point this out, but it's not centered.

It's not bad. But I think the red is a little too bright. I have seen a grey stripe which I thought look pretty good.





I had thought about adding the the stripe from the Design 3 onto my CTTS. I think it looks sharp.

I did the Plasti-Dip stripe as a test run. I was considering a vinyl stripe like that grey one.

You know, I really don't like stripes on cars, but this kinda works for me. I even think the red is a good pop against the white.

 

Thanks gnat! At times I felt I was driving in a big marshmallow. I needed contras color(s) to pop off the white. After a few beers, painting the back of the mirrors was an option, then I remembered the stripe on the CTTS (design 3) so I went with the stripe. I don’t have much of a steady hand. That’s why I went with one solid stripe instead of 2 or 3.

 

I like it... I get bored as well and like to change the looks of cars. I did a matte black stripe on my black GTS... off centered and followed the contour of the hood in the front... seemed to flow better. It's just vinyl so when I get tired of it, off it comes. In certain light it's really visible... in dim light or rain you can barely see it.
