TiKORE titanium lugs - Cayenne 958

If you are local we are more than glad to install your orders here at our TiKORE facility!

Here we have a new Porsche Cayenne Turbo customer (this was a beast, full tubi style exhaust with champion tune, pushing 650+ HP)

Sporting a beautiful set of Vorsteiner wheels now bolted on by a custom +14mm matte titanium TiKORE 2-piece Porsche lug bolt set with security.

We even made custom sized floating washers to make sure his lug fitment looked as good as his wheel fitment! On point!

Out with the steel and in with the titanium.

Replacing the cheap heavy steel hardware with our titanium masterpieces.

Interesting...

So, for $796.00 for a set with security addition, how much weight savings do titanium lugs actually provide over stock lugs?

LEFT: Porsche Cayenne OEM lug bolt 99.5g

MIDDLE: TiKORE +15mm Porsche Cayenne lug bolt 78.8g

RIGHT: TiKORE +20mm Porsche Cayenne lug bolt 82.2g

Even though weight savings is minimal, there still is a significant difference in weight OEM compared to our TiKORE titanium lugs.

The benefit is more about the corrosion resistance factor and adding that last perfect compliment to your wheel package.

All exterior threads are rolled, not cut for superior strength and wear resistance.

We manufacture a quality precision product designed and CNC machined in house here in the U.S.A.

Thanks for replying to our thread!

No problem, thanks for answering my question with nice detail of weight!

There's no denying the fact that your Titanium lugs look great.
Definitely something to consider.
Thanks.

TiKORE titanium lug bolts vs. OEM

TiKORE Tuesday, where a local 997.1 turbo Porsche customer showed up for his install of a matte titanium 2-piece Porsche TiKORE titanium lug bolt set.

The customer had an immaculate Porsche sporting a set of HRE wheels, however that were bolted on by a set of corroded OEM lugs that physically were seized to the wheels...and had to be replaced.

http://www.tikore.com/porsche/

TiKORE machines in house out of an aerospace certified grade 5 6AL-4V titanium. Certified means each batch of material is tested to ensure the mechanical properties are correct. Each lug is manufactured individually to strict tolerances and all threads are rolled not cut for superior strength and wear-resistance.

Now for the install photos.

...and we had to take some with the TiKORE 997.1 turbo shop car

Would you please post a few pics of the 'normal' titanium vs. the matte colored lugs?

I'd love to see a side by side pic in order to compare.
I still want to order a set but not sure which color will look best on my Turbo IIs.

LOL!
Yes, i certainly favor the matte gray (Matte bead blasted)...

But, i'm afraid that the matte will just disappear and not show its good looks.
Wondering if the bright machined titanium will show its beauty better??
