This picture entered by Harlequin NY is nearly identical to my issue after one year and 13000 miles. Black interior may be less noticeable. But damn, these 18 ways are great seats.

Mine was at about 17,000 and as much as I think he should go with the 14's I absolutely love the 18's. They wrap around me like a leather glove.

18-way Adaptive seats are absolutely the best for me.
When first testing Cayenne's, i found that the 14-way led to significant and uncomfortable pressure on my lats (upper back muscles under arm pit).

I tested 18-way and LOVED them. I'm around 5'10 and 185 with muscular build.
I immediately made the seat type a deal breaker when looking for a CTT.
When the time comes to trade, my next one will have 18-way too.

I had to have my family members learn how to get out of the seats easier. Entry is no problem. I have them swing their leg around first into that pit area and then exit. Plus I lower the truck to make it easier also. Otherwise they (or anyone else) turn and slide over the bolsters to get out and then complain how the seats suck to get out of. But they now do it out of habit and no complaints. Anyone new I tell them before getting out. Otherwise the side bolster would be hanging off by now. But once in the seats..... Everyone loves them. This is the first time I ever had cooling in the seats also.

The cooling seats work too! I love em.

My SL500 had them and they didn't do anything.
