I am down to the final week before my order freezes (for changes) on my 2015 Cayenne and am trying to get some detail around what the seat leather packages really mean.

I am looking at the 14way seats configured as either 1) Partial Leather Seats or 2) Partial Leather Seats and Leather Interior

My confusion is around what they mean by "Partial Leather" Is that a leatherette/vinyl or does it mean that part is quality leather and part of the seat is not.

Also, if I select the second option, what else is leather (Dash, Console?) it doesnt really say on the configurator. And is the seat then full leather, but it still says "Partial"...ugh...

It is a $3,655 uplift, is it worth it?

 

ok, I think I found the answer... on the summary page of the configurator, it gave more detail:
Leather Interior in Black
Includes:

• Covered in Smooth-Finish Leather
  - Seat centers, seat bolsters and headrests (front and rear)
  - Steering wheel rim and airbag module
  - Dashboard upper section incl. instrument cluster cover
  - Dashboard lower section incl. glove compartment cover
  - Center console grab rails, armrest, side panels and base
  - Door handles, armrests and paneling incl. top section (front and rear)
  - Gear selector
  - Rear center armrest

NOTE:
Front seat backrests covered in partial leather.

Standard Interior in Black
Includes:

• Covered in Partial Leather
  - Seat centers and inner side bolsters (front and rear)
  - Center section of headrests (front and rear)
  - Door armrests and handles (front and rear)
  - Center console armrest, grab rails and side panels
  - Rear center armrest
• Covered in Smooth-Finish Leather
  - Gear selector
  - Steering wheel rim

So I just have to decide if the higher quality "smooth finish leather" (vs "Partial leather") is worth the $3,655
