Hi all

My 2011 CD has the Light Comfort Package so has white LED's and extra lights etc. inside / the door mirrors and so on but the one in the roof lining above the luggage compartment is yellow and looks very out of place, what bulb is this and does it need an error free type?

I've not noticed any others yet, will they be yellow in the side panels of the luggage compartment too?

Anyone got a link to a bulb I can buy here in the UK to avoid shipping costs from the US please?

I was thinking the same thing, and I believe the two lights on the edge of the bottom of the trunk lid are halogen lights as well, It would be nice to be able to swap all three of these lights out with LED

 

I changed all of the interior lights to led and also the license plate lights. they are all T10s except the one above the cargo/trunk. that's festoon. not sure of the length. about 33mm? no tool needed to open and change. interior lights won't throw error codes. just take it out and go to any car parts store and get a replacement led one. the two on the trunk/back door bottom are t10's. you need a led bulb that shines to the side instead of the top.

 

Thank you for the info! I'm looking for some high quality t10 led bulbs for the trunk lid. Later when I have time I'll go to the garage with a measuring caliper and get the measurements but from preliminary googling, it seems the trunk bulb 578 festoon

I bought about $100 worth of cheap Chinese leds from ebay to pick out the best ones. there is a big difference in brightness and they are not always proportional to price. in the end, still much cheaper.
