Opinions on new wheels.....

So I decided to use my OEM wheels as my winter setup for trips to Tahoe and annual trips up to the PNW. So which leads me to the need for a set of new summer wheels. Having a hard time deciding between Vorsteiner (VSC-101), Modulare (B18 Evo), and HRE (P101).

HRE P101

Modulare B18

Vorsteiner VSC-101

At first glance I didn't like the HREs, but the more I went back and forth between the pics I think I do actually like them. Maybe it's the angle of the shot for the others or that the HREs were shot with a brake system that actually filled them up (nothing irritates me more on a car than giant open rims and tiny little brakes inside...).

Like you, the HRE's have also grown on me. Just not sure if it is worth the premium over the Modulare/Vorsteiner. Anyone can comment on Modulare? I'm not familiar with the brand, even though I have seen numerous pics of them here on 6speed.

I love them all, but I'd do the modulares...I've liked every set I've seen on a 958

The guys over at HRE were cool enough to do a render of the P101's on a CTT

Now I'm back to not liking them so much

I think its the way arms come out and push the hub farther in. I'm just not a fan of inset centers like that. I like my wheels as close to flush as possible.

Those are very similar to what I have now. Looking for something a little different.

I get that. I like the HRE's!! Very exotic and professional bball player looking!

I have the turbo II wheels but they are 100% black- they were powder coated when they came in- seems strange now.............. and they were black when they came in huh...

I have the Sport Edition Wheels in Black on my present CTT & the Turbo Design wheels on my incoming CTT. I favor the HREs. In addition to it being the best looking IMHO, you get the backing of HRE. That alone has a value. HRE & BBS. Doesn't get much better. Disclaimer - No tie to either.

Spoke to a vendor today and they were recommending running staggered, 295x30x22 on the fronts and 335x25x22 on the rears. The rears sound REALLY wide to me. Anyone have any experiences? I was only considering 22X10.5 running 295x30x22.

I'm not supposed to be choosing sides since I deal with all 3 but HRE are the best to deal with. Great people and they have a good price going on for P101's (at least for us)!!

The rears sound really really wide to me. 305 is what I would recommend 315 is pushing it. You have to consider the load rating as well and the comfort of the ride.

At first I was dead set on getting the VSC-101, but the more and more I see the P101's, the more I like them.

As for tire size, I am also leaning towards Vredstein 305/35/22. Will those fit on the fronts without rubbing?

Can you PM me a quote on a set of 22x10.5 in a dark brushed clear finish?

I will double check on the tire size for the front, but I don't think 305 will fit. It would look really aggressive if they can .

I'll send you a pm in a bit.
