Thanks so much. Very appreciated. So I'll order 5 units of 5G0 947 409 for footwells and glove box.
This is very convenient, I'm sure that OEM will work best and Only a set of 10 BMW bulbs will be enough.

Regarding the puddle lights in the mirrors, this replacement is the most appealing IMO. The yellowish light doesn't match up to the LED daytime running light.
Replacing them is quite easy. Using a plastic prying tool, gently lever out the mirror glass. The glass is held in place with pop off retaining clips. Next, disconnect the electrical connectors. 3 torx 10 need to be removed in order to release the rear cover and gain access to the bulbs (be careful, it is also fitted with three locking tabs that must be pressed gently). Thats it! I have taken them out many times without any problem.

If you want to order them from the dealer, go to VW dealer instead. I bet they will cost 2x as much at Porsche dealer, ha ha. This is an universal part, used across VW range of cars (Golf 7 etc).

I'll do! Thank you.
I've found a youtube video that exemplifies the procedure I wrote previously about replacing mirror bulbs by led:

I hope it helps.

footwell OEM lights

5 footwell OEM lights arrived today (4 for the footwells and 1 for the glove compartment). Tested and work great.
Will post pictures of the whole car as soon as I replace all the bulbs, including the puddle lights in the mirrors; BMW 10er set on his way too.

Thanks for the vid - very helpful! I will try when it gets a bit warmer here in Poland - plastic will be more flexible and harder to break.

So even the OEM housing will give off that blue light?

It is not blue (like 6000K xenons) - it is just a crappy picture. I believe the OEM color temp is around 4000K, which means it is perfectly neutral.

Just doing some spot-testing with mirror bulbs. The result is extremely worthwhile IMO:

After
