need help with double to single exhaust pipe on PSE

need help with double to single exhaust pipe on PSE

got this single pipe i would like to fit on my factory PSE exhaust. i was thinking of shortening the pipe with the valve and cutting the other to fit it..any better ideas?

I would get my stock tips anodized before I cut them up. Or buy a set of GTS tips.
