Heated Steering wheel

Forgot to order this option. Is it possible to get the heated wheel and make it work without tearing the car apart and spending a total fortune?

There have been threads about this before. You have to replace the wheel itself as well as the clock spring.

I don't think I've seen a thread where anyone actually did it, so you may still need to do additional wiring to get the extra power up the steering column to the clock spring (Porsche is notorious for only wiring the options you have) and you may also need the dealer to update your computer to let it know that the HSW is installed.

You can search but let me help you. No, it has not been done and dealer's say not doable. I asked.

You also need to update the software, because when you switch the steering heating on/off, you get a message on the round screen.

You need kind of activation code to programm steering module to turn heating on.
Dealer can not make this, and as i know no chance buy this code fron third side now.
