I will likely pick one up tomorrow and report back. Thanks to all above.
Anyone notice the crazy low for a porsche lease price with Porsche/EU and US govt hybrid support?
Thanks for the additional insight on it's fuel economy. We currently have an V6 BMW X5 and a BMW i3 for daily driving. Thinking of replacing both of them with the new Tesla SUV, but always liked the Cayenne. Like the Tesla, but wish it had more than a 200 mile range. My x5 lease isn't up for 12 months.

I would also be interested the lease numbers you're referring to.

May rather private message if need further specifics but I obviously shopped and test drove the Tesla extensively (S only). The only way I'd order one would be the 90D with decent options so about $1250/month 36 months with about 6K down. Looked at 'inventory' models too.

The Cayenne E-Hybrid is $817/month with $3500 down.... no brainer FOR ME. Can walk away in 24 months with inevitable improved battery too. We had a V6 Cayenne a few years ago, so know what I am getting into for the better as well. The non hybrid Cayenne S lease was about 1250, fyi.

When leasing I believe the lease company gets the federal rebate. So with the 3500 cash plus the 5300 fed $, you effectively put down almost $9k on a 24 month lease. The averages out to $375/month for 24 months in payment reduction. But the payments are nice.

Porsche, as the buyer of the leased vehicle, does keep the $5300 tax rebate which I am immediately credited instead of a fed tax reduction next April 2017 if myself purchased.

This is a 36 month lease, with option of walk away in 24 as with all Porsche leases. 3500 includes first months lease payment, acquisition fee, tax and license plate registration and mandatory in Florida dealer fee. So really only 1000 down over three years from my pockets toward lease payment reduction

Appreciate all of your forum posts robot.

At that rate I probably would have looked closer at a lease also to eliminate any risk. Curious what your car's MSRP was? Never heard about the 24 month rule, which sounds very interesting.

I have a couple unrelated questions for owners.

How long does a full charge take using 220v?

Does the car come with a standard 110v AC charging cable like the i3 did?

How long does as full charge with the standard 110v AC take?

Thanks guys

The answer to the 220v question is; it depends. If you have the standard 3.6kwh charger in your car it is about 3 hours. If you have the optional 7.2kwh charger it is just under 90 min. I have this and it's great for fast charging. But it is only a factory install option as far as I know.

Yes it comes with a 110v cable. Which takes like 10 hours to charge.

I'd also love to know the MSRP of the car that came out to that lease payment/downpayment.

Thanks-

Closed the deal on my e Hybrid

Between the discounts that dealers were willing to get to and the Federal Tax Credit (which ends up applying 100% to the lease cap cost), the lease payments are quite reasonable.

I got over 10% off of MSRP, plus the tax credit on a car with MSRP just over $92K and my lease payment including taxes is under $800, with $8000 in drive off costs.

I am very happy with that.

Moonlight blue, Black/Luxor interior, PP+
