Just bought my wife a 2011 Cayenne S.
I'm about to place an order for a Curt hitch and trailer wiring.

I've read a few threads with conflicting info on what is needed.

Do these already have some trailer wiring in them?
What parts/modules do I need to order?

I have a '10 S and there was no wiring. I added the Curt hitch and a Curt trailer wiring kit. I connected the wiring to the tail lights and it works fine as long as you do not have electric brakes on trailer. If you have electric brakes, you will need something more - either the OEM trailer module or an after-market one. From my research, I would go with the OEM module as it appears to be pretty easy to hook up and adds functionality like triggering the alarm if the trailer is disconnected.
