Need advice on new 2016 Cayenne

Thinking about ordering 2016 base Cayenne for daily driver. I commute mostly on freeways 60 miles a day. Do not need an S, GTS or Turbo because already own a 997.1 turbo as my weekend toy.

What options are a must? I have not driven the new Cayenne but have read that it is a stiff ride. I was considering the Air Suspension with PASM option.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this.

I have a "16 diesel and I drive 18-20K miles/year. Do not have air suspension/PASM. Go for 14 or 18 way seats with heat and ventilation, Bose for Sat, thermally and noise insulated privacy glass, heated steering wheel and if have a cargo roof box get roof rails and cross member bars. I got other items for a personal reasons and you will too.

ACC is nice too and wished I did get that.

f you're sticking to a non diesel, id pay the extra money and get a S. the V6 is really slow to move a car this big. even if you have a fun weekend toy, this is going to be your primary car. having the extra oomph is a must for me.

If I were to order again, I'd skip on the thermally and noise insulated privacy glass.

Second the vote for ACC especially with lots of freeway driving on your commute. Also would vote you consider the diesel for your needs over Base. Lane change assist also a good option for long freeway drives. I have the 14way seats and think they are great.

My 2015 Cayenne S with Air Susp, PDCC and PTV is a completely different animal than the base Cayenne. You owe it to yourself to drive all of the different variants.
I have a 997 S Cab and find I still can get a kick out of the Cayenne as a daily driver.
Why settle?

Acc and Air with PASM are two great features. Our 15 CD with both is night and day different from our 13 without th
And to further reinforce the perceived difference, I just had my 991 in the shop for a week with a broken blower motor, and they gave me a CD loaner without both options. Having both versions at home for a week, I could definitely tell the air ride was a lot better and firmer (my preference). Plus its great to put it in load level when its parked, looks really cool.
